Ruby in Zoisite "Owl on Skull" Carving (Anyolite)~CRRZOWLS. Owl energy, or medicine, encourages us to release all that doesn’t serve our highest good, and to hunt for only that which feeds our soul. They remind us that every ending is a new beginning, and that the long, clear vision will help us navigate even the dark night of the soul. It can be a fierce warrior if challenged or something it holds dear is threatened. Owl is the energy of wisdom and truth, seeing the whole picture. Instead of representing death or loss, Skulls represents the important Buddhist concept of emptiness. In Buddhism, emptiness is considered to be a quality of the universe. This means that phenomena we experience has no inherent nature by itself; instead, we attach meaning to what we experience. It’s basically saying all events are neutral- but we choose to magnify them in our minds. They can also symbolize humility, reminding us that everything outside the skull is vanity. They can also represent humanity, unity, and diversity, because other than subtle differences and size, they are pretty much identical regardless, of age, sex, or race. Ruby in Zoisite is said to bring the understanding and courage to "be true to oneself". It connects the energy of the root chakra with that of the heart chakra, reminding us that one can do what one loves AND make a living one follows one's bliss. It is thought to "ground out" the energy of heartbreak or betrayal. It is said to expand one's energy field, while allowing for a deeper understanding of other's energy fields, and assist one in communicating with spirits through altered states of consciousness.
